Telehealth for your pet
Dr. Sarah Boston's mission is to help clients and referring veterinarians with the diagnosis, staging and treatment of pets with cancer. Her focus is on surgical oncology cases, but she can also provide guidance for adjunctive treatment of cancers and select non-oncologic surgical cases. Consultations can be either vet-to-vet or vet-to-client, depending on your location and preferences. For cases in Ontario, Dr Boston can provide either type of consultation and we can arrange for in-person care. For cases outside of Ontario, Dr. Boston will consult directly with your veterinarian to provide recommendations and advice for case management.

About Dr Sarah Boston Telemedicine
Dr Sarah Boston is a veterinary surgical oncologist who is an ACVS board certified small animal surgeon and an ACVS Founding Fellow of both Surgical Oncology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and completed her DVSc and ACVS residency in small animal surgery at the University of Guelph in 2003. She completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Colorado State University in 2005. She has spent most of her career in academia as a tenured faculty member at both the University of Guelph and the University of Florida. She is currently working in private practice in the greater Toronto area. Dr Boston is a public speaker at national and international veterinary conferences. She is also a best-selling author of the book, LUCKY DOG: HOW BEING A VETERINARIAN SAVED MY LIFE. She also recently completed a two-year program in Comedy Writing and Performance at Humber College and performs stand up comedy regularly in the GTA.

Sign-Up
Get started with our platform by clicking the ‘Register’ button in the top right corner. There is no fee to sign-up!
Schedule Appointment or Create Referral
Consultation services are by referral only. There are two types of video consultations:
- Vet-to-Vet consultations are with Dr Boston and the veterinarian directly. These appointments can be booked by directly veterinarians. For cases outside of Ontario, only vet-to-vet consultations are possible.
- Vet-to-Client consultations are by referral only. Once Dr Boston has reviewed the referral message from a veterinarian, these appointments can be booked directly by clients. This is for cases within Ontario. During the consultation, we can review options and arrange for in-person diagnostic tests and treatment.
- Messages - this function is for referring veterinarians to set up Vet-to-Client consultations. Please note that these messages must be sent by veterinarians in Ontario and not pet owners.
Once in the application, select your preferred type of consultation and select an available time slot.
Please note: For messages, a time slot is not needed. Once reviewed we can set up a consultation.

Consultation Summary
Dr Boston will provide a written summary of your consultation that is available for you viewing at any time. Videos will also be available for download after the consultation.
